TestComplete supports several scripting languages for test automation. These languages have different syntax and different engines, and their usage has some specifics that are described in this section.
Note: We recommend that you use JavaScript or Python to create script tests. These languages use the modern scripting engines - V8 engine v. 5.8 and Python 3.11.5 correspondingly. They are stable, reliable, and you can find references on them online easily.
