About This Video
It is often preferable to create smaller automated tests for different areas of the tested application rather than one large test for the whole application, because small, modular automated tests are easier to modify and maintain. This video shows how you can then organize your individual automated tests defined in your test project into a single batch run. You will learn how to:
- Open the Test Items panel, where you can specify the test run sequence.
- Add test items manually or by dragging them from other TestComplete panels.
- Set up test item properties, such as test iteration count, timeout, parameters and others.
- Change the test items’ execution order.
- Organize test items into groups and nested structures for easier management.
- Prevent specific test items from being run.
- Run the automated test batch.
- Analyze results of the automated test batch run and view logs of individual automated test iterations.
Length: 4 minutes 59 seconds.
