The TestComplete 3 Compatibility plug-in provides support for tests created in TestComplete
3. The plug-in allows you to run TestComplete 3 scripts in later versions of TestComplete
with minimum changes. You can use it to smoothly migrate your projects from TestComplete
version 3 to later versions.
After you download the plug-in zip archive, extract the .pls file from it and install
it in TestComplete like any other plug-in by using the File | Install Extensions
menu command. For information on how to use the plug-in, please see TestComplete’s
help.

The ControlID plug-in adds the ContorlID property to window objects. This property
specifies the window identifier returned by the GetWindowLong(Window, GWL_ID))
function call. This is the same property as Control ID that can be viewed with Microsoft
Spy.

controls onscreen. Also, it then lets you search the captured image immediately
to find if a previously stored bitmap is somewhere in it (this is an interactive
